چکیده

In aircraft and spacecraft, outside air is not directly fed to the passenger because it contains ozone at elevated altitudes. The decomposition of low concentration in was carried out 25 °C by catalytic oxidation on Pd-based catalysts supported a high surface area hybrid TiO2. use these has shown beneficial effect, both activity catalyst stability. Kinetic studies showed that most promising phase (Pd/TiO2_100) one obtained from TiO2 support containing lowest content citrate ligands leading small Pd particles (around 4 nm). effect synthesis O3 gas (15 ppm) dry humid (HR = 10%) stream closed environment such as or spacecraft also investigated this study further elucidated detailed characterizations. It system could be used an effective treatment for coming outside.

A Study of Low-Temperature CO Oxidation over Mesoporous CuO-TiO2 Nanotube Catalysts

Supported copper oxide nanoparticles have attracted considerable attention as active and non-precious catalysts for many catalytic oxidation reactions. Herein, mesoporous xCuO-TiO2 nanotube catalysts were fabricated, and their activity and kinetics toward CO oxidation were studied. The morphology and structure of the prepared catalysts were systematically studied using SEM, TEM, EDS, EDX, XRD, ...

Mesoporous Silica Supported Pd-MnOx Catalysts with Excellent Catalytic Activity in Room-Temperature Formic Acid Decomposition

For the application of formic acid as a liquid organic hydrogen carrier, development of efficient catalysts for dehydrogenation of formic acid is a challenging topic, and most studies have so far focused on the composition of metals and supports, the size effect of metal nanoparticles, and surface chemistry of supports. Another influential factor is highly desired to overcome the current limita...

Carbon Supported Cu and TiO2 Catalysts Applied for Ozone Decomposition

In this article a comparison was made between Cu and TiO2 supported catalysts on activated carbon for ozone decomposition reaction. The activated carbon support in the case of TiO2/AC sample was prepared by physicochemical pyrolysis and for Cu/AC samples the supports are chemically modified carbons. The prepared catalysts were synthesized by impregnation method. The samples were annealed in two...

COMBINED MERCURY REMOVAL AND LOW TEMPERATURE NH3-SCR OF NO WITH MnOx/TiO2 SORBENTS/CATALYSTS

MnOx/TiO2 catalysts/sorbents were investigated for flue gas purification via the simultaneous low-temperature NH3-SCR of NO and elemental Hg capture, in the temperature range 25-300 °C. In particular, the effects of the Mn precursor salt (acetate vs. nitrate) and of the TiO2 textural properties (nanotubes vs. random mesopores) on both deNOx and Hg capture efficiencies were addressed. The cataly...

Methane combustion over Pd/ZrO2/SiC, Pd/CeO2/SiC, and Pd/Zr0.5Ce0.5O2/SiC catalysts

The performances of different promoters (CeO2, ZrO2 and Ce0.5Zr0.5O2 solid solution) modified Pd/SiC catalysts for methane combustion are studied. XRD and XPS results showed that Zr 4+ could be incorporated into the CeO2 lattice to form Zr0.5Ce0.5O2 solid solution. The catalytic activities of Pd/CeO2/SiC and Pd/ZrO2/SiC are lower than that of Pd/Zr0.5Ce0.5O2/SiC. The Pd/Zr0.5Ce0.5O2/SiC catalys...
